The Old Fairview Water Tower
This iconic water tower was constructed in the 1960’s as part of the young Fairview, Texas. While no longer in service, this landmark was often used to direct people to Fairview. “You could see the water tower from miles away and that’s how you knew where Fairview was.” At the time of its construction, it served less than 400 residents.
Personally, I love the look of this old tower. It’s somewhat of a contradiction to the new Village at Fairview shopping center and the new Fairview Town Hall, but it’s a great reminder of the town’s past.
