A beautiful day on campus. The long shadows cutting across the grass and the golden light falling on the rotunda of Dallas Hall make for a great opportunity for a photo.
Reflecting on Bishop (view large)
Playing around with Lightroom and Photoshop. I used to do these types of images a lot in my college days. Forgot how fun these can be.
Flowers on the First Day of Spring
Last night we got a real downpour from storms in North Texas. Most of area received between 2.5–5.3 inches. These flowers were able to survived the beating from the over 4 inches of rainfall to hit the SMU campus. All in time for the first day of Spring.
Flickr Photo of the Week
My photo of “Missa de Functorum” from the Meadows School of the Arts Spring 2012 Brown Bag Dance Series was selected for the Art&Seek Flickr Photo of the Week.
Last night was a special screening of the new film “Casa De Mi Padre” at SMU. After the screening (which was okay), the comedic Will Ferrell and radio host Gordon Keith did a little Q&A for the audience (which was greatness).
Last Friday, I got the chance to catch the Meadows School of the Arts Division of Dance’s Spring 2012 Brown Bag Dance Series. Some lovely dance pieces were performed by these very talented dance students.
We were shooting some new headshots for the office the other day and someone just had to pull out the Hulk mask.
The Sun shines on DeGolyer
Stitched panorama of the DeGolyer Library lobby at Southern Methodist University.
Finally got a chance to take a break and use my new pano head with my Sigma 8mm Fisheye. The pano head is replacing my old one that missing the L bracket. Makes stitching with AutopanGiga a breeze. I was able to shoot 6 shoots, download into Lightroom, do basic processing and stitch the pano in less than 15 minutes.
